Purchased my first pair of these in Jan 2010, outstanding comfort and durability. I am an office worker (military) with occasional exercise, operational and PT use. As Will says, excellent for cutting about camp in, great for driving a real treat after 27 years in the military and countless amounts of boots - my vote goes to Bates and Lowa. Just ordered second pair and will make them an annual birthday present. My pair are only now showing signs of age on the rubber toe guard which did split at one point. Excellent Value, Excellent Boot!!

Had these four months now.Former Police officer (28 years) so tried one or two types of boots.Nowdays walk about 5 or so miles a day pavement and rural type walking out for 4 to 6 hours a day at weekends as i have dogs.I dont wear slippers but if i did i would like them to be as comfortable as these. The ice and snow grip is superior to my addids terrex and way superior to my Salomon Cosmic 4D GTX.I do wear my Sealskinz socks with them though as they are not a freezing weather boot .I have also worn them in hot ( UK ) weather with no problem. The grip in dry and wet weather conditions is so good that i joke to the wife that i could walk up walls with them. Look like black trainers under a pair of jeans so nice and neat and quite stylish looking just a tad prada esq.perhps. Also wearing very well so far. Must point out that i have a problem with the nerve endings in my feet and these help compensate.Would be great for most types of police duty and just about anything else that did not require a steel toe cap. Also nice and light. Oh and very reasonably priced.

I got these boots a few months back, and after using them for a while and having time to reflect, they are the mutts nuts!!! They are the most comfortable boots I have owned ( I am currently using Lowa supercamp for field use) They are like a pair of trainers, and are excellent for cutting about camp every day. they are exspecially good for CFTs / PFTs. All round a class boot. and for the price is a must have!
