Lowa Combat GTX - Amazing boots!!

Bought these boots from FOB-UK a couple of weeks ago. Wore them yesterday for the first time for a 7 to 8 mile trek in Snowdonia in the most miserable conditions known to man. Torrential rain, storm force winds and ankle deep puddles. The boots were an absolute godsend. With absolutely no breaking in, they were as comfortable as a pair of carpet slippers for the duration of our trip (if not quite as light) and kept my feet completely dry and warm. Ankle support is amazing, too. Well worth the extra few quid over the Mountain boot if you don't mind the extra height. The boots were a little "squeaky" out of the box, but some Granger's conditioner sorted this out. Zero regrets about buying this boot, and would recommend them to anyone. They performed 100% as promised and expected, and it's not often that this happens. Looking forward to using them again and again.
